These terms and conditions apply to all purchases from bilderschmied.com [Imprint] made by private customers. Private customers in this sense are persons who cannot be attributed the goods ordered by them to either their commercial or their independent professional activity.

(01) Applicable law:

  • The contract concluded between you and bilderschmied.com shall be governed exclusively by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany to the express exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The mandatory regulations of the state in which you have your habitual residence remain unaffected.

(02) Prices:

  • The prices quoted are final prices including VAT. The amount shown at the time of the binding order applies. 

  • According to the § 19 UStG we do not charge the German sales tax, and consequently do not account it.

  • Please note that while shipping is free of charge, you will be responsible for any local tax duties.

(03) Ordering | Conclusion of Contract:

  • The presentation of our goods and the granting of the possibility to place an order constitutes a concrete offer on our part to conclude a purchase contract.

  • By placing an order, you accept the offer and the purchase contract is concluded. You will receive an order confirmation to the e-mail address you have provided.

  • When you place an order with us online, it is forwarded to our partner The Print Space London, who handles the printing, as well as the shipping.

(04) Payment:

  • Payment is due upon ordering and possible via:

    • Apple Pay

    • Google Pay

    • Credit card

    • PayPal

(05) Shipping:

  • Delivery is made worldwide to the address specified by the customer.

  • Shipping is managed by our partner, The Print Space. Prints will be shipped either from the UK or their German studio in Düsseldorf.

  • If force majeure (natural disasters, war, civil war, terrorist attack) makes delivery permanently impossible, any obligation to perform on the part of bilderschmied.com or The Print Space shall be excluded. Any amounts already paid shall be refunded by bilderschmied.com without delay.

  • As soon as The Print Space is ready to ship out the print (usually within 1-2 working days), we will email you the details of the delivery and the tracking number. If you do NOT receive this confirmation from us within 3 working days of placing an order, please email bilderschmied@web.de or call +49(0)151 67105650, and we’ll gladly help you with receiving your print as soon as possible.

(06) Shipping costs:

  • Worldwide shipping is absolutely free of charge for you.

(07) Shipping times:

  • Orders ship out within 48 hours of your purchase, and will usually arrive within 5-10 working days, depending on your location. If your package hasn't arrived after 14 business days, please contact bilderschmied@web.de - and we will ensure that the print gets to you!

  • Estimated Shipping Times:

    • Europe: 3-10 business days

    • USA & Canada: Up to 14 business days

    • Rest of the world: Up to 14 business days

(08) Our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee:

  • The images of "edition one | timeframe" are printed on Hahnemühle FineArt Photo Rag, one of the most appreciated fine art papers. We are absolutely convinced of the quality of our prints and grant you a 100% satisfaction guarantee - you therefore don’t take any risks by ordering a Fine Art print from bilderschmied.com.

    If you are, contrary to our expectations, not satisfied, we will happily either replace your print order with another print of equal value from bilderschmied.com, or refund your payment completely. 

  • As the photos are limited edition prints, you will have to stick to the following guidelines in either way:

  1. Tear up both the print and the accompanying certificate of authenticity and document the result with a photo or video.

  2. Email bilderschmied@web.de within 14 days after receiving the print, state your order number, and let us know which other print of equal value you would like to receive from bilderschmied.com, or whether you would prefer to receive a full refund of the amount already paid.

  3. Attach the documented destruction of the print and the certificate of authenticity to this message.

  • After checking the submitted photo/video, we will immediately take care of your replacement delivery, or your requested refund.

(09) Defect rights:

  • The print tube shipping packaging is extremely tough and capable of surviving the roughest of shipping journeys, however in the rare event that your print arrives with any kind of damage, we will gladly conform to this warranty case and replace it completely free of charge.
    We will need to have video or photo evidence of the damaged packaging and print in order to process your replacement. In order for this to happen, just send an email with your order number to bilderschmied@web.de WITHIN three DAYS of receiving the damaged print. You will have to attach images (or a video) of the damaged package and print, the later torn up print and the destroyed certificate of authenticity to that mail.
    We will then get the free replacement arranged for you right away.

  • We would like to point out that there is no warranty case if the packaging and printing were undamaged at the time of transfer of risk. A warranty case does not exist in particular in the following cases:

  1. In the case of damage to the print caused by misuse or improper use on the part of the customer,

  2. In the case of damage caused by the print having been exposed to harmful external influences at the customer (in particular extreme temperatures, moisture, unusual physical stress, fire).

(10) Dispute resolution:

  • We participate in alternative dispute resolution in accordance with Art. 14 (1) ODR Regulation and § 36 VSBG (Consumer Dispute Resolution Act). The relevant dispute resolution institution is:

(11) Final Provisions:

  1. Should individual provisions of this contract be or become invalid or void in whole or in part, this shall not affect the validity of the remainder of the contract insofar as a contracting party is not unreasonably disadvantaged thereby.

  2. Amendments or supplements to this contract must be made in writing.
